With over 12 years of building experience, Kurt Olsen, owner of KO Building is a meticulous craftsman, making quality his number one priority. Kurt's wife Tracey, who also helps with finish work and interior design, says that their goal is that even the minutest detail is just perfect, which includes both seen and unseen components of the home. “We build them like we’re going to live there,” she explains.
KO Building constructs speculative and custom homes. Tracey says the advantage of custom homes is that a client has more control over the design, layout, and location, ensuring they get exactly what they want. However, the process of creating a custom home with a significant other can be challenging; since there are so many big decisions involved, couples are bound to disagree. Because KO Building has grown out of a unique working relationship between husband and wife, Tracey says they can also help their clients work through difficult decision making.
